Time to plant some flowers for Mom! It's ironic that growing in the projects, there weren't alot of opportunities to do any kind of gardening. And Mom never liked being outdoors cos of the mosquitos and other teeny bugs. She always worried about getting bitten. But I actually enjoy planting stuff around her grave. I don't know what I'm doing but Mom isn't picky. I'd like to believe she appreciates the effort I put in.
I brought Dad along and surprisingly he went into Home Depot with me instead of staying in the car like he usually does. He picked some kind of cactus-like flower and purple tulips. Here are the photo evidence:
