Christmas Eve at Rob's

We had a nice Christmas dinner at Rob's. Helen, Jocelyn,  Mom and Dad and Rob's mom, Chloe and Preston. We had the standard prime rib, mashed potatoes and steamers for appetizers.

Mom seem like she was enjoying herself. Dad as usual helped out by making his gravy. Rob's mom LOVED the steamers! It was good time had by all. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Mom and her Pearls

Great news - Mom had her brain MRI today and no cancer! Dr. Marcoux said radiation is an option as a preventative measure against the cancer spreading to her brain. But it's only about a 25% chance of working and given my mom's nerve pain issue, he doesn't recommend it. Mom agreed wholeheartledly.

She is so tired of taking pills and its side effects. But she agreed to try Lyrica for her pain. So far so good - no side effects yet. And her pain is only a 3.

Here's to Mom for taking care in her appearance and wearing her pearls!

    I'm fortunate enough to have an awesome job at a biotech company. I'm also blessed to have the bestest of friends in the world - from Castle Square, ATASK, and Jamie Club - you know who you are! Last but not least, I have a family that are always there for me. 

    Because of all the people in my life, awesome opportunities have come my way - working and volunteering in the community. I hope to continue that work with a little help from my friends.
