Took Dad to the airport. And of course his flight was delayed so was worried he wouldn't make the connecting flight in Chicago. Thank goodness he made it with a few minutes to spare.
My Uncle emailed me to say he picked up Dad at airport. And Dad was fine. So have fun! Wish I was there....

Mother's Day has never been a big deal to us. Usually just lunch or dinner with the family. I never gave much thought to why we're celebrating moms on this special day. And now I know. It's too late for me and I hope whoever reads this celebrate this day as if it's the last Mother's Day you'll ever have with your mom. I probably should do that with all aspects of my life....live like it's your last day! How would that affect my decision-making? A question for another post... Anyways, visited Mom, added mulch to her gravesite, lit one of her More cigs, poured some DD coffee for her and played some Jacky Cheng songs for her. The usual routine...I love you Mom and Happy Mother's Day to you up there!  |
