It's been such an emotional journey since I started this blog. ALOT of sadness and pain. But I feel like I'm FINALLY coming out of the darkness. Wow, 6 years. I've run the gamut of feeling despair, numbness and anger. I gave in to all of the effects of grieving. But I feel like you have to go through the process. And I'm sure it's different for everyone. My process may have taken 6 years and for some it could be longer or shorter. And don't get me wrong, there have been some good times but inevitably the emptiness in your heart comes back.
But in the last 5 months, I felt the darkness slowly subsiding. And feeling joy again. And I know for me, things are happening for me once I started to open myself up. It's been amazing to experience it! It's true that what you put out there is what you'll receive. It's what the book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne is all about. I'm not 100% there yet but working towards it.
So thanks to everyone who has been following me on this blog. I don't know who you are or where you are but the stats show you're still reading. And thanks to my supportive group of friends and family who have always been there. I'm looking forward to the future and what life has to offer me! And it can't hurt to have my Mom and Helen rooting for me!
