Dad is doing well at rehab. He aced the speech therapy and memory test esp. one of the questions was to name as many animals as you can in a minute. Well, you know my Dad's favorite show is National Geographic Wildlife! He was smiling cos he knew he had this. The therapist did wonder at "wild dogs" which is very common in Africa. Haha. Well, he named 15 which beats the average of 12! So proud of him.
They are discharging him this coming Thursday. And the plan is for him to rest at Nancy's place and fly home on Sunday. Poor guy doesn't really like PT and is usually exhausted afterwards. But he needs to continue outpatient PT when he comes back. He can walk but has difficulty with balance and coordination.
Just glad he is ok cos it could've been so much worse!
