Met my brother at the cemetery on 9/1 with Rob and his kids. Dad was in Philly and maybe it was better for him to be away? I don't know. Can I honestly say it's now easier to deal with? Yes, the level of despair and sadness is lesser. Definitely. I'm slowly coming around to accept how Mom would want me to be, Basically, get over it and live your life to the fullest. Plus I need to be there for my Dad. He is like a adult-like child. Doesn't know when to stop and overindulging. But he's always been like that so who's to tell him to stop after 73 years?
I got back from a mini-vacation in West Palm Beach with Nancy. It was super chill spending our days on the beach. And spa and shopping at night. What more can you ask for in a vacation. Ummm, maybe some good food. We didn't have alot of luck finding a good restaurant.
So back to work which is a little stressful. But at least I have a job. So can't complain.
